This year has been lots of fun on the track and I had the chance to meet lots of new wonderfull and talented people that inspires me!

Just before this winter (11/12)  I 've been riding on my dirtbike for 1 year and was so stocked to keep on riding even if It was cold so I got studded tires and never regreted It, the tracks were in great shape and learned a lot specially to get confident and got more control over the bike, wich was my first goal for starting riding properly.

I also trained a lot at the gym to get stronger and cycling a lot to improve my condition. (I was snowboarding a lot as well <3 div="div">

I decided to start competing to get inspired of the other girls! I really think that competing helps you to develop your skills, be better and just go faster. I also knew It was too early but didn't care and happy I dared to do It.

My first contest was in snow, rain and mud :) It wasn't fun but I made It and met lots of really good riders and was really insprired of their skills and so stocked to be as good as they are!

I 've been riding the whole spring, summer and fall at least 3 times a week and 1 training on my bicycle.

I've been lucky to ride lots of new differents tracks all over the country thanks to the contests and camps I participated in :)

My goals for this year has been to have control on different materials and ride equals on all of them, to get flow and good rythmes on the tracks and my favorite one: to learn to jump!!!!!!!

I must say jumping with the dirtbike is the same feeling as in snowboarding It's like the best feeling in the whole world just hanging and be free and just so Happpyyyyyy..... :)

The 2 favorites contests for this year were in Rättvik and Hedemora, It felt like supercross tracks with lots of funny features with waves lots of jumps in different shapes.

I was so happy riding those 2, In one of the heat, I got a really good start for the first time in my life top 10 to the first corner, and hanging good, but I fell in both contests. I was very disappointed at that time but  that feeling disapearedfast cause It's just a learning and see- year and need to improve a lot.

On my first Contest I met Lisa Blom, a really talented rider who's inspires a lot and I struggle every time on the track to try to do the same thing that she does. Thanks Lisa !!!!!!!!

It's been a wonderfull mx season with lots of smiles!!!!! and HAPPINESSSSSSS all over!!!!!!! 

A big thank to all of the wonderfull people that makes this even greater! 

At least I want to give a big thank from all my heart to Alfred!!!! Always by my side and helping me out, always, and makes eveything possible!!!!! 

For now, still riding despite the days getting shorter and time for going to the gym!

I have lots to do and improve on, I need to be fast and go fast in the turns cause this is my big problems and try to be comfortable in sand and really keep on getting more more control over the bike :)

Swedish Championship Snowboard 2012

2 weekends ago, It was time for the Swedish Championships!!!!!

It took place in Kläppen (Sälen) :) It was 4 long days full of contests:

Halfpipe

Boardercross

Slopestyle

Matilda and I took the trip to Sälen together and we staid at Ewa and Tobbe's beautyfull house for a week :) 

We had 2 days of training before the start of the contests and the first day It was riding kickers & rails, the second a long day of smilling in da Halfpipe and 3 runs in the boardercross course.


HALFPIPE:

First of all, the shape was great and the pipe hold for the hole day :) It was a pleasure to ride this great pipe together with my lovely friends Matilda and Johanna, all 3 of us were riding with a big smile on our faces for the HOLE DAY!!!!!

It was my 2:nd day in the pipe for this year and felt during the day that my riding improved for every run I took but a bit sad that I havn't been riding halfpipe more this season cause It didn't felt 100% right.

Johanna Holmstedt showed everybody what a great pipe shredder she is and won the competition :) and I was so happy to take the 2:nd place :) and Matilda Pilfalk took the bronze medal :)

( Matilda and I celebrated by going with the hole CREW->Lina, Ewa, Malin, Fille, Pernilla & her brother->to see HungerGames WHAT A GREAT MOVIE!!!)

BOARDERCROSS (Snowboardcross):

THIS DAY was EPIC!!!!!!

Matilda and I were so PUMMMPPPPPEDDDD for this ONE! :) The course was so funnnnnn!

First a drop,1 roller, 1 little jump, 2 banks, a snowbox with drop, 4 rollers, a little jump,2 turns and 3 rollers before the finish! The key was to just go straight down and so as fast as you could to keep the speed for the snowbox because after that It went really slowly! and of course to be First out of the gate!!!!

Matilda and I raced against each other for the hole training!!!! It was so FUNNNN and really good for both of us!

Time for the quali: 2 runs best time counts, 4 best girls goes to the finals. I qualified for the finals with the 2:nd best time after Matilda... my boots broke and had to go to the shop to fix It and Peter was so nice to borrow me HF wax for the final :) Matilda heard about the wax-thing and in the last minute went down aswell to fix her board and got lift to the start haha!

The final! We were 4 girls at the start gate! Johanna 

Holmstedt, Me, Matilda Pilfalk and Ida Mansner ready to GO! riders ready?! 5 seconds! and the the gate went down, I just remember that I had to be first out to win. Johanna and I were first out and went straight down to the first bank closed to each other, a sec later johanna fell!!!and Matilda comes in the inside and go first, I try to keep up with her, after the snowbox I feel that in slowpart that I'm getting clother to matilda and pump as "#€%, in the last turn on my way to the last rullers I decide to go on matildas leftside to pass her and pushed the board as far as I could over the finish line. We didn't know who won before the prizegving and by 30 cm I won the gold medal!!!!!!!

It was one of the best contest with full of happiness and great riding with super friends!

SLOPESTYLE:

When I woke up that morning I was so tired but very happy,

The last feature in my final run

Unfortunatly It was very windy and cold so the slopestyle course was icy. but the weather got better during the day and It was sunny for the finals....!

4 girls went to the finals: Erika Colbert, me, Johanna and Matilda.

My final run: fs 360 lien, bs 360 mute, 50-50 upbox, lien on mini corner!

I got the gold medal in Slopestyle !!!!!!

After a wonderfull week with so much fun riding dancing with my friends I decided to not participate in the Big Air, I fell and hurt myself a little bit during the training to the slopestyle final and was too sore/tired to participate in the last contest!

I want to thank Matilda and Johanna for all the love and dancing and shredding! and my super buddies Ewa Lina Malin Anneli Fille Tobbe & Harry for all love and friendship you give to me.... you're the bests!!!!

And thank you Nikita Clothing & K2 Snowboards for all support you give to me :)

1:st MX edit

Now It's time for my first MX edit after 1,5 year on my dirtbike :)
We were in Linköpings Motorstadion and Norrköpings Motorstadion this last weekend and It was really nice weather and so fun!

Ulricehamn Slopestyle Contest

This weekend I went to Ulricehamn ski center for a slopestyle contest!

The training started and I was the only girl :( My and Anna were there but couldn't ride and my super buddy Matilda couldn't get a ride so she was stucked in Göteborg :(

So they put me in the men senior event...! It was an honor and fun to compete with them and really try to do my best but they were too good :)

The hole training was fun an the park was great!!!! the kicker was so enjoyable with lots of airtime! After the kicker there was an up box and in the end of the slope a set up with down rails and a big fat rail.

I injured myself earlier this week on a box almost passed out and got bruised so I wasn't in the mood to do the big rails so I took the fat one instead just to get back on my feet again.

I did the qualifications and stomped my second run and got a wildcard for the final! It was wonderfull weather and we had 3 final runs which was so fun!

My final run: bs 360 mute, boardslide on the up box and fs board on the fatrail

Finally I enjoyed the time after the contest even more, they opened the park and everybody including me were riding the park until they closed! :)
